Petllar is a vibrant online community linking local pet owners with reliable caregivers, encouraging effective information exchange. The Creativity Spark
Humans have various social software.
Pets or animals lack similar social platforms.
Enhancing pet socialization.
Strengthen the bond between pets and owners.
Main Goals
The project objective is to create a dynamic and supportive online community for local pet owners to connect with reliable pet caregivers and share valuable information. We also plan to introduce an add-on device that enhances pet socialization and tracks pets' activities contributing to pets and their owner’s overall well-being, happiness, and safety. We aim to design an accessible product that is practical to use.

Research Phase
Phase one - Street & Online Survey
As we wanted to gather insights and feedback directly from pet lovers, we did online & street surveys as well as interviews. There are three questions asking their thoughts about the pet location tracker, their dog walking habits, and how their pets and themselves make friends.
Phase Two - User Persona
Phase Three - Competitor Analysis
By examining the strengths and weaknesses of AirTag, Rover.com, and Whistle Pet Tracker, we gained valuable insights into the competitive landscape.
Problem Statement
How might we design an online platform for local pet owners to connect with trustworthy pet caregivers and share information with other pet owners?
How might we develop an add-on device that improves pet socialization and also monitors their actions, thereby fostering the well-being, happiness, and safety of both the pet and the owners?
Ideation
Our vision: a user-friendly solution that empowers pet lovers, enhances pet interactions and fosters a connected pet community.
Concept and Sketch
Next step, I engaged in a detailed discussion regarding the primary functionalities of three key sections within the app: 'Discovery,' 'Activity,' and 'Community.'
